This model generally is based on fixed price quotes, which are based on agreed specifications. The Project Manager from our side interacts on a regular basis with the Project Manager designated from the client's side. The Project Plan, with well-defined milestones and deliverables, is agreed right at the start of the project. Progress reports are sent to the client on a weekly basis. This helps to keep the project on track and any issues or problems are sorted right when they occur. It helps prevent smaller problems turning into unmanageable problems of larger magnitude. Clients can conduct mid-term reviews at our office. Our engineers facilitate installation and acceptance testing at client's office.

Regular communication is through fax and internet e-mail (through dial-up and high speed links). However, if the nature of development is such that it requires communication on an hourly/daily basis or in cases of large volumes of business, it is recommended to go in for point-to-point high speed satellite links between the client's office and the development centre in India. Many organizations have point-to-point satellite links with their development partners in India.
